Welcome to Kaouki Hill. By booking a stay with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Reservations and Payments

- All direct bookings require full payment in advance through our website using Stripe or PayPal.

- Cancellations are at the discretion of Sidi Kaouki Hill Resort. Cancellations made 14 days or more before arrival receive a full refund. No refunds for cancellations within 14 days or no-shows.

- Prices are in Moroccan Dirham (DHS) and include the applicable tourist tax (Taxe de Séjour TAV etc) unless otherwise stated. Exchange rates are set by Stripe or Paypal at time of booking.

2. Check-In and Check-Out

- Check-in is at 3:00 PM for all accommodations except The Moonlight Yurt, which is at 4:00 PM. Check-out is by 11:00 AM for all accommodations.

- Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request, subject to availability.

- Guests must provide full identification (passport or ID), Email  and phone number upon check-in or earlier if requested.

3. Guest Responsibilities

- Guests are responsible for any damage to the property, furnishings, or equipment during their stay and agree to cover repair or replacement costs.

- Smoking is prohibited indoors. Designated outdoor smoking areas are provided. A 500 DHS cleaning fee applies for violations.

- Pets are not permitted unless pre-approved by management.

- Guests must respect the local environment, including argan trees and wildlife, and refrain from littering or damaging natural resources.

- Excessive water usage may incur additional charges, as water conservation is essential in our rural setting and the well being of our communities future.

- Alcohol is not served by the resort, but guests may bring their own. A corkage fee may apply for consumption in shared spaces or during experiences (e.g., Private Chef dining).

4. Photography and Social Media

- All commercial photography or videography at the Gatehouse Studio requires prior written approval from Sidi Kaouki Hill Resort. Guests must submit a detailed description of the planned activities, including the nature, scope, and intended use of the shoot, at least seven days before the booking. We reserve the right to approve or deny any request for commercial photography at our sole discretion. 

- Any approved commercial photography must credit Sidi Kaouki Hill Resort as the location in all published materials. We reserve the right to review and approve any commercial or non-commercial photographs or videos taken on the property before they are published online, including on social media, websites, or other platforms. Unauthorized photography or failure to comply with these terms may result in legal action, additional fees or cancellation of the booking.

- Sidi Kaouki Hill Resort reserves the right to take photographs or videos of the property and public areas for promotional purposes. Guests may appear in such media if in public spaces, and by staying with us, you consent to this use without compensation.

5. Guest Safety and Liability

- Sidi Kaouki Hill Resort is located in a natural, rural setting in Morocco. Activities such as climbing trees or buildings, or engaging in other risky behaviors, are undertaken at the guest's own risk.

- The resort is not liable for injuries, bites, or harm caused by snakes, wild animals, or other environmental hazards present in Morocco.

- Guests are responsible for their own medical issues or emergencies arising during their stay, including those related to local conditions (e.g., extreme heat or other natural risks). We recommend obtaining travel insurance to cover medical emergencies or other unforeseen events.

- The resort is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to guests' personal belongings.

6. Experiences and Activities

- Bookings for experiences (e.g., Night Sky Fire Experience, Private Chef, BBQ Pack) are subject to availability and must be confirmed in advance.

- Prices and minimum guest requirements are as listed on our website.

7. Compliance with Moroccan Law

- Sidi Kaouki Hill Resort operates in compliance with Moroccan tourism regulations, including health, safety, and licensing standards, as overseen by the Ministry of Tourism.

- Guests are expected to respect local customs and cultural norms, including appropriate dress and behavior, to honor the community of Sidi Kaouki.

- No drugs, illegal substances to be brought or consumed on the property

8. House Rules

- Quiet hours are observed from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM to ensure a peaceful environment for all guests.

- Unauthorized parties or gatherings are not permitted.

9. Force Majeure

- Sidi Kaouki Hill Resort is not liable for failure to perform services due to events beyond our control, including natural disasters, government restrictions, noise or inconvenience from neighbors, construction in the surrounding area, or other unforeseen circumstances.

10. Governing Law

- These terms are governed by the laws of Morocco. Any disputes will be resolved through mediation or in the courts of Morocco.
