Kitchens and Canteens
Located in the centre of the Medina on the upper level of Place Al Khaima Super cool and relaxed canteen style eatery run by a young Moroccan Norwegian couple who between them have created a gem with great music played on vinyl through a classic stereo system and yummy fusion plates offered at lunch times only.

Another contemporary canteen this time at KM8 Ghazoua. Sebastian recently opened and has surprised with his colourful dynamic interior design and superb food. Lunches offer the full menu, for the late afternoon and evening its pizzas.

A french pop art inspired kitchen that specialises in the reinvention of the burger alongside a whole menu of yummy salads, dips and plates. It's probably the best place in Kaouki and has a really well appointed kitchen that will probably evolve into something even better than it already is.

A relaxed but more upmarket restaurant just on the edge of the Medina near Place Orson Wells. Set in a vaulted old Jewish store it's been sympathetically renovated and offers consistently well cooked seafood, fish and meat dishes. A must if you're looking for something more sophisticated in the evening.

Run by the same family as Madada and L'atellier the restaurant is set in a mature gardens with a pool. Its a great destination if its too windy for the beach as a pool pass can be booked in advance and a day can be spent chilling eating Asian / Moroccan fusion food and drinking in the gardens and around the pool. It can get busy so best to book the pool passes the day before.

Moroccan
For traditional Moroccan there are lots and lots of well reviewed restaurants all over the Medina its hard to to pick one as they are mostly excellent but opening hours and ownership changes so it hard to keep up. Best thing is to search on google and see the latest reviews.

Cafes
They have two locations one in the Medina at Square Moulay Hassan which serves homemade Italian Ice Cream and Coffee and the second is on Avenue Mohammed Zafzaf serving the above plus pasta and Italian lunch time specials to the local community.

Probably the best coffee in town.... Located in the Medina they have just moved next door from their tiny shop into a much larger cafe over two floors offering amazing coffee, great music and more.

Great coffee and cakes served in an incredible vaulted building with cookery classes and a superb gift shop / boutique.
